I have a Director who has been having issues with one of her managers reporting to work late and has documented his file indicating that he will be progressively disciplined if he continues this pattern. Can a reporting/start time be imposed upon an exempt employee? If so, if he continues to report to work late, can he be terminted?

an exempt employee I believe as long as they get their job done, you really can't discipline them for "not coming to work on time". that is a perk to being exempt.

even though the employee is exempt, he is not an inependent contractor. the employe is stil bound by company rules and hence if notified of the expected hours, should adhere to it.
