I have an employee returning to work after 7 + months leave for FMLA/PDL. This person is in an non-exempt position and previous to being on leave would work a typical 10 hour shift everyday. Now, since her leave the work flow has shifted and the manager does not have enough work to keep her for 10 hours. Can her work schedule be reduced to a 40 hour week?
She is in the same job as she was previously.

| When she was hired was her hours set with all this overtime or only when the workload permitted the overtime?
