| We have several employees that come in early and get their computers turned on, grab a cup of coffee chat for a bit and then go to work. These employees punch in any where from 5 to 30 minutes early. They know that we do not allow any overtime, and don't expect to be paid. Am I good to just calculate their time for 8 am on or do I have to pay them for the early time they clock in. If so, what is the lead way on punched time or is there any?

| We also have a no overtime without prior approval policy. Our employee' s are told that they can only clock in no more that 15 minutes before or after their shift and our time clock does not calculate overtime for this time. If they do punch in before or after this time their supervisor is questioined as to whether this was approved overtime or not.
