An applicant had a workers' comp claim 7 years ago, ok to hire? What is the responsiblility of the company if the injury returns? The injury is repetitive strain injury

If they are no longer under treatment and are released with no restrictions to performing their job, then your probably o.k. You do run the risk of them being re-injured but no more of a risk then other people that have been hired with a previous claim that no one knew about; or even a a person who has never had a claim.

Is this a question that you have on your application for employment?
