| Can anyone offer any advice/information/websites about PFL? We have a male employee who's wife is due to give birth any day and we're experiencing our first encounter with PDL...specifically he is a draw against commission employee and has commissions coming, but may cash when he is on leave. Any advice???

Please keep in mind that your employee may be eligible for FMLA (upto 12 weeks of unpaid leave) and PFL (upto 6 weeks of paid time at 55% of lost wages), which run concurrently. Under PFL, this benefit pays upto 55% of lost wages. For more information visit www.edd.ca.gov
