I have an employee that was off on FMLA / CFRA for 4 or 5 months. She returned to work for a couple of months and it is time for her annual review. (Annual reviews are done on their anniversary.) She does a great job for us and we want to give her an increase. Do any of you take into account an employee’s leave when deciding on their review / increase? Do any of you defer their review / increase or pro-rate it?
I am really interested to hear how other companies do it. Thanks!
