Our secretary has cold meds, tylenol, etc and she offers it and also employees ask for it. Anyone clear on the law regarding dispensing this and the liability to the company? Where I may find such info, etc?

We have a list of items we can offer from our WC doctor. They only things on it besides the regular first aid items like band-aids is non-asprin and antacids.
Cold medicines I don't think are okay. People react to different types of medicine in different ways. They could have a side effect on the job and they you could have a WC claim.
I would tell the secretary to stick to her secretarial duties and leave the first aid to the nurse.
