I have an employee in CA who is on disability leave (I'm HR in Kentucky). What law is there regarding keeping him on the company health insurance? The company pays for his entire premium?

That is a good question. When and employee pays for medical the co. has the right to request payment for ins. on a monthly basis while on leave; you can even make arrangements to pre-pay for the time anticipated out.
Try looking on this website and see if it has a better answer for you. You may be stuck on this one since you pay 100% of the premium.
