Dear HR colleagues,

My company works with 5 different staffing agencies, and we would like to consolidate. We have up to 250-300 temps at a particular time working for us.

Do u think these are too many staffing agencies to work with? How can I consolidate? How can I devise a plan to work with staffing agencies; bidding, proposal, contract, etc? What are the advantages/disadvantages?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you

I would ask the agencies you work with to see if they can actually handle providing 250 - 300 temps for your company. You may be using that many by necessity. I know the agencies we have worked with have sometimes had trouble keeping us staffed with a much smaller number of temporary employees and we were forced to use another company at the same time.
