| We've recently hired a few new employees who won't officially begin until early this summer. My question is--on the employment agreement they have signed it lists the hire date. However, is there a difference between the hire date and the start date in regards to benefits, etc. For example, our 401(k) plan allows enrollment after a period of 1 year of employment, but which date would be considered official?

| I beleive it is the actual start date. Our benefits enrollment form asks specificly how long you have been on active duty. Also specifically how many hours worked per week.
