An employee presents a letter address to them, from their physician at the time of hire that they have chronic migranes.

HR doesn't probe the reason behind them submitting this letter.

Employee in first 3 months of employment has chronic absenteeism, impacting their job.

Is this employee protected under ADA? Is it our job to probe whether we need to make some accomodation and what is reasonable. They are not yet eligible for FMLA.
