We have a policy for staff donations of their sick leave for employees who go out on disability and who have no accruals left. It says that it is for a life threatening illness.
I have a person who is asking for the donated leave for herself as her doctor is putting her on disability until July 1 due to severe fatigue as a result of being on hemodialysis and complications with diabetes. I know this is not a lot of information, but do any of you consider this a life threatening situation? Thank you, Diana L
