We implemented a salary freeze at the beginning of the year. It is likely that we will be reinstituting wage increases in the near future, though potentially they will not be retroactive to the employee's anniversary date (when they are generally eligible for a pay increase.) I am interested to hear how others have or would handle this situation so as to be as fair and equitable with employees as possible. As it stands, about half of our employees have gone without increases thus far.
I look forward to hearing any ideas!
