Is it okay for an employee who feels threatened by their supervisor request an outside party (a mediator) be part of any meeting behind closed doors?
This particular supervisor always intimidates the particular employee (and others) and says duragatory, demeaning things to the employee(s). Is it okay to request someone else to be part of the meeting to either ensure the meeting is conducted properly?

| I think it will be a choice of either allowing the employee to bring in somebody to mediate or the employee filing an official Harassment Compalint. If the employee is feeling harrassed already, I think upper management should step in and settle things between the employee and the supervisor.
