WORKER'S COMP & INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS Expand / Collapse

Hello,

I know that a company does not need to cover an IC under their Worker's Comp insurance, but what if said IC is injured on premises, while performing the duties of their job? Does the company than have to abide by all WC laws and procedures and cover medical expenses for said IC?
