Can someone help clear this up for me? I am unclear of who I DO need to re-verify if not expired: U.S. Passports or cards , "Green Cards", or Driver's Lecenses. Currently, the employees we currently have, hold these 3 documents and I'm trying to understand who needs to re-verify. Thanks.

The HRCalfornia re-verification site says:

'The re-verification requirement does not apply to the U.S. passport or "green card" (Form I-551), which are issued to lawful permanent residents. Temporary evidence of permanent resident status, in the form of an unexpired foreign passport containing a temporary I-551 Alien Documentation Identification and Telecommunication System stamp, is subject to the re-verification requirement.

[u], an Alien Registration Receipt Card/Permanent Resident Card (Form I-551), or a List B document that has expired.'

google the Immigration website and download the manual for employers on how to maintain I-9's. In this handbook it gives you clear direction on which documents need re-verification, how often and how to document that it has been done. Good Luck
