Disciplinary Action for Pregnant Employee? Expand / Collapse

I have an employee who notified me of her pregnancy about 3 months ago (she is currently 4 months pregnant). This employee has had attendance issues from the time we hired her. However, now that she advised me of her pregnant she is late every single day; seems to be taking advantage of her pregnancy. She is in total violation of our Attendance Policy. I would like to write her up. Is it ok to do so?
