We are new to the California business world and I have a question; if an employee voluntarily quits and wants to wait until our regular payday to get his final check and it's beyond the 72 clock hours, is this ok to do?

| To be safe... I wouldn't do. You should always cut a TERM employee's check as soon as possible. You never want to not follow CA labor rules and get into legal trouble
